Pokemon Yellow Cheats

We’ve seen so many fake Mew codes pop up on the web (and we get about 20 new fake Mew code submissions A DAY) that we’ve decided to add this following disclaimer to our codes section:According to Nintendo, Mew cannot be found or caught in Pokemon Yellow, Red, or Blue. Outside of a GameShark code (which may mess up your Pokedex and render the game incompatible with Pokemon Stadium), the #151st Pokemon remains a cool litte extra that is only handed out by Nintendo on special occasions, such as Mall Tours or Pokemon events.
However, all those who want to catch a glimpse of the rare Pokemon can select Mew as a rental Pokemon in Pokemon Stadium for Nintendo 64 (but you cannot upload it to your Game Boy game). Note that Mew is just that — a bonus Pokemon (albeit a very cool one that can learn all TMs) — and not technically required to complete your Pokedex.
Note: This trick requires another Game Boy and Pokemon game. Trade the Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player get a Pokemon that he or she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving the bad Pokemon can see the other player’s screen. When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemon’s displays “Waiting”, get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the “Waiting” message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the “Trade completed” message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games will have the same good Pokemon when they are turned back on.
Note: Do not attempt this trick with any saved games you wish to keep, as it can corrupt those files if done incorrectly.
Buy a Pokedoll in Celadon Mart, then FLY to Saffron and talk to the Copycat. She will give you the Mimic TM.
To get Bulbasaur beat misty nugget bridge and get to bill`s house. Defeat the rocket and get Dig. Go back to the house and she will give you Bulbasaur!
Go to Cerulean city and beat the five trainers on the bridge going north, then go in to the first square walk away and then talk to the guy in it, he will give you Charmander.
Hint: How to get two HMs in Fuchsia City
If you are stumped on where to get the “Surf” HM, Here’s what you do. It’s in Area 3 of the Safari Zone. You will have to get there fast as well. (I used a bike, I suggest you use it if you have it.) If you get into the secret hideaway in area 3, the man will give you the “Surf” HM. The gold teeth item is also in Area 3. Give the gold teeth to the owner of the Safari zone and he will give you the “Strength” HM. Use that to move the boulder and claim the item in the owners house.
Did you ever notice the small house at the northern beach of Route 19 that wasn’t in Pokémon Blue and Red? This hut is home to the infamous “Surfing Pikachu” mini-game. Here’s the deal: if your Pikachu knows Surf, you can play the mini-game Pikachu’s Beach right here. The only problem is that Pikachu can’t learn Surf… Well, at least not in Pokémon Yellow. Here’s how you get Surfing Pikachu (outside of winning a Nintendo Pokemon contest):Surfing Pikachu is hidden in Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64. To teach your Pikachu Surf (a technique it can normally not learn), you need to first unlock the R-2 (Round 2) mode. Then do the following:
- Enter the R-2 Prime Cup’s Master Ball division (you have to beat the first three divisions first).
- Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokémon.Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge.
- You now have to beat the Prime Cup’s Master Ball division using a three-Pokémon team that always contains Pikachu. Pikachu has to be in every one of the eight battles.
- You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won’t get Surfing Pikachu.
Once you have fulfilled all the above conditions, you are shown an award screen with Pikachu standing on a surfboard. From here on, Pikachu can use the Surf technique both in battle and during gameplay (Game Boy versions only). In Pokémon Yellow, you can now also access the hidden Surfing Pikachu mini-game. Simply go to the small hut on the northern beach of Route 19 and talk to the guy inside.
There is also a GameShark code that lets you access Surfing Pikachu, but we advise against using it, since it can mess up your Pokédex and save data. It’s not worth the trouble.
You can only get Mewtwo after you have beaten the game. First go to Cerulean City and go past the five trainers. Take a left and you are in a grassy area. Then continue down the water (you need Surf to get in the water) until you see land. Get on that land and enter the dungeon (if you haven’t finished the game, a guy will be blocking the entrance). Work yourself through the dungeon until you’re on the bottom floor. You will see Mewtwo. Use your Master Ball to catch it.
To get Raichu, trade the Pikachu you started with to a Red/Blue version after It gets to be about Lv. 50-60. Then use a Thunderstone on the Pikachu you traded. After it evolves, trade it back to Pokemon Yellow. Now you will have Raichu. Be careful, though. Pikachu will no longer follow you around if you do this. You may be much better off just trading a Pikachu caught in Red/Blue and evolving that one.
To get Squirtle first you must beat Lt. Surge. Then go talk to officer jenny in the middle of the city and she will give you Squirtle.
At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button
All of the slot machines have different odds, which change every time. Play each machine 4 times, and if it hits 2 or more, then stick with that one, because it’s probably hot.If the slow machine forces you really close to a 777 or Bar Bar Bar it will probably give you one or the other soon.
This isn’t a useful trick in any way but it doesn’t mess up your game and works on all versions. First you need a pokemon that knows how to use the cut technique, and then find a tree that you can chop down. Cut it down and stand right where it used to be. Save your game while you’re standing there and then turn it off and on again. The tree will be there and it will look like you’re standing on top of it as if you climbed it. (you can get down by walking.)

Get the Diploma Complete your Pokedex (Mew is optional) and visit the game designer in the Celadon Mansion. He will give you a diploma as a reward. In-game reset: Delete saved game: Dodrio: Dragonair: Evee: Farfetch’d: Flareon: Golduck: Gyrados: Catch a Magikarp and go to Cerulean City. Find the Daycare and talk to the man. Answer “Yes” and wait until magikarp is at level 19. Give it a rare candy and it will evolve into Gyarados – it will also learn Bite. To get Gyrados easily, save five Rare Candies and get the Super Rod. Fish at the Safari Zone. Keep fishing until you catch a level 15 Magikarp. Give it the five Rare Candies you will have a Gyrados. . Graveler: Jolteon: Kadabra: Kingler: Lickitung: Machamp: Magneton: Magnemite: Meowth: Metapod: Mewtwo: After getting Mewtwo from the Unknown Dungeon, teach him TM14 (Blizzard) and keep the Psychic and Recover moves he has. Then, train him until level 81 and he will learn Amnesia. He can be unbeatable with those four moves. Moltres: Pidgeotto: To catch a Pigeotto in the beginning of the game, go to Viridian Forest. Pass Lace and go straight up and make a left. You will find an item. It is a Pokeball. Get it, then keep walking back and forth. A level 9 Pigeotto will appear. You should also have extra Pokeballs to catch it. Note: This only works at the beginning of the game and it may take awhile. Pidgey: Pikachu: Go to any cliff and jump down but let Pikachu stay on the top layer. Wait about five seconds until he starts to bounce around and walk in place. Then, jump down and walk in a straight line. Pikachu will slide in place behind you. This does will not cause any problems with the game. The game will return to normal after you turn in another direction. Use the following trick to put Pikachu to sleep, so it will no longer follow you. Go to the Pewter City Pokemon center with Pikjachu following you. Talk to Jigglypuff so Pikachu falls asleep. If you then try to deposit Pikachu, go into the Trade Center or Coliseum, or try to heal your Pokemon they will not work. If you save the game and turn it back on, it still will not follow you. The only way to wake it up it to go outside or to talk to it. When you get enough badges, go to the P.L. H.Q. Go far enough until you reach an island that is in the middle of the lake you are surfing across. Use your rod and fish until getting into a battle. Talk to Pikachu afterwards and he will have a bucket on his head. To see Pikachu with a bucket on his head, go to Cinnabar Island. SURF up until you reach a platform. Fish with the Super Rod. Even if you do not catch anything, talk to Pikachu and he will have a little fish icon over his head. Then, the picture will appear and Pikachu will have a bucket on his head. The Pikachu that you get from Professor Oak will not evolve. The message “Pikachu is refusing” will appear every time that you try to give it the Thunderstone. To see Pikachu with a bucket on his head, encounter a water Pokemon with a rod. Afterwards, immediately speak to Pikachu. He should have a bucket on his head. To see Pikachu with a confused look, go to Bill’s house. Pikachu will look at the fake Pokemon and will be confused. To see Pikachu do a peace sign, simply capture a Pokemon, then immediately speak to Pikachu. To see Pikachu with a surprised face, go to the Pewter City Pokecenter. Talk to the Jigglypuff to make it sing. Then, use the “Poke Flute” to wake up Pikachu. After the snoring, Pikachu will awaken surprised. To see Pikachu with a surprised look, go to Bill’s house to change him back to human from his previous form. To see Pikachu with a scared face, go to Lavender Town. go into Pokemon Tower, and talk to Pikachu. To see Pikachu with a very scared face, Go to the Pokeclub in Vermilion City. To make him scared again, just stand in front of the door as possible, but do not enter. Then, go in and out of the door about thirty to forty times. Pikachu will soon have the face that it makes when he gets scared and runs. To see Pikachu dance, go to Fuchia City, hop over the fence and do not take one more step. Wait awhile and Pikachu will start to dance. To see Pikachu with an angry face, get another Pikachu during game play (or through a GameShark or Game Genie code). Talk to Pikachu to see an angry face. To see Pikachu with sparks around him, use the Thundershock attack many times. To see Pikachu with hearts around it, win a lot of battles. Alternately, go to the Pokemon Club in Vermilion City. He will run up to Clefairy. Talk to him and he will have hearts around his face. To see Pikachu crying, have him poisoned in a battle, then talk to him. When you are in the Ghost Tower and your Pikachu, faints go to the purified protected zone (resembles a group of small squares on the floor). After your Pokemon gets healed, Pikachu will be a ghost and will walk on the tomb stones. Go to the PokeClub in Vermilion City. Keep entering and exiting rapidly. Soon, Pikachu will look at Clefairy. Then, talk to the man and he will ask you if you want a picture of your Pokemon printed. When, the screen of your Pokemon appears, Pikachu’s picture will not be there. When you select Pikachu’s name, it will say that there is no response. Note: You must have already gotten the bike first. To make Pikachu happier, after traveling from Pallet Town, try to use the Potion on him. It will not work, but will make him happier. To make Pikachu have many hearts on its head, bring him to the Pokemon Club in Vermilion. It will fall in love with Clefairy. Alternately, give Pikachu some vitamins such as Carbos, Calcium, Protein, or Rare Candy. Then, talk to it. It will have a heart icon on its head. Note: This does not always work. Poliwag: Get a Good Rod and go to Viridian City. Use your Good Rod on the lake. Keep trying until a Poliwag appears. Poliwrath: Ponyta: Psyduck: Primeape: Raichu: Train your Pikachu to a level above 70. Then, trade your Pikachu to a Red or Blue version of the game. It should evolve when the person you traded it to gets it. Trade back to get the Raichu. Slowbro: Squirtle: Complete the battles at the Vermilion City gym and defeat the Gym Leader. Go outside and talk to Officer Jenny. She will recognize your strength and give you a Squirtle. Staryu: Tangela: Vaporeon: Zapdos: Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres: Missing Pokemon: Missingo warning: Name origins: The first part of the name of the three mystical Pokemon birds, Arcticuno, Zapdos, and Moltres originate from arctic, zap, and mole. The last parts, uno, dos, and tres are Spanish for one, two, and three. - Abra was originally called Hocus. Winning team recommendation: Alakazam (Psychic, Recover, Reflect, Thunder Wave) Catch Pokemon without weakening them: Catch Pokemon easily: Get into a battle with a wild Pokemon. Use any ball (except for a Master Ball) immediately as an attack. As soon as the ball appears, hold B + Up. This requires extremely precise timing. Use False Swipe until there is 1 HP remaining, then paralyze them. This will make it harder for them to break out. Use this trick to catch Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, and Mewtwo easily. You need are a lot of Pokeballs and you need a Haunter at level 35 that knows Hypnosis. Go to any of the legendary bird Pokemon, and save the game before you battle. When you start, make sure you have Haunter in front, and quickly use Hypnosis. If they attack you, Haunter should not faint. Once they are asleep, you do not need to weaken them; just throw a Pokeball. When battling Mewtwo, level up your Haunter to about level 45 and do the same thing. If you cannot catch it with a Pokeball, try a Great Ball. Catch the legendary birds easier: Check Ghost Pokemon without the Silph Scope: Defeating Ghost Pokemon: The only ghost Pokemon are Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar. They are also Poison-type. Psychic type Pokemon are weak against Ghost attacks, and the opposite is also true. Defeating Brock: If you look in the tall grass west of Viridian CIty a lot, it is possible to find a Mankey. Since fighting types beat rock types, Mankey is the best Pokemon for the job. You need to raise it to a high level though, because it does not learn a fighting type attack for a while. Catch a Pidgey and train it up to level 18. You should have an easier time defeating Brock. Go to Viridian City. Enter the grass by the Pokemon League. Keep battling until you find Mankey and try to catch it. Train it until it learns a fighting or ground attack, like Low Kick. Go to Pewter City and fight Brock. Put your Mankey out first to defeat Geodude. Then, switch to Pikachu and use Tail Whip until Pikachu faints. Use Mankey again keep using Low Kick until Onix faints. Use a Pidgey and advance it to level 13 or 14. Catch a Caterpie and evolve it to a Metapod, and a male Nidoran. Use all four of them in battle with Brock. Use your Pickchu’s Tail Whip to lower Geodude/Onix’s defense. If it faints, use Metapod’s String Shot to lower its speed for slower attacks. Once the “Nothing Happened” message appears, use Nidoran’s Leer to lower Geodude/Onix’s defense. Get a shiny Nidoran and train it until it learns Double Kick. It should already know Horn Attack. Use it to defeat the apprentice. When facing Brock, use Double Kick on all of his Pokemon. Catch a Mankey west of Viridian City, in the grass below where you battle your rival. Train it to level 9 and let it learn Low Kick. Then, use Low Kick to beat the Jr. Trainer and Brock. Choose Gary’s Eevee’s evolutions: Defeating Gary’s Eevee evolutions: Eevee: Have a Geodude that knows Dig. Normal move are not effective against Rock Pokemon and ground is very effective against normal. Vaporeon: Use Pikachu, or Bulbasaur. Flareon: Use Squirtle or Geodude. Water is very effective against fire, and ground is also very effective. Jolteon: Use Graveler that knows Dig. That is very effective. Jesse and James locations: Mt. Moon (before you exit) Reaching Erica’s Gym: No escape: This will also happen when you fight the trainer before Brock in the Pokemon League. However, if you defeat him, you can walk out of the room and back to the ghost trainer. The voice will keep you from going any further than that. Free bike: Hidden rare candy: Use the Item Finder in the grass on the Bike Path. Hidden Max Potion: Moonstone: HM 1 (Cut): HM 2 (Fly): HM 3 (Surf): HM 4 (Strength): HM 5 (Flash): Icebeam TM: Fake Faint: Raise level and revive fainted Pokemon: Effective Pokemon matching: Normal vs. Nothing Saving money: When you reach Celedon City, go to the rooftop of the Department Store and buy 20 Lemonades. Sell all your Super Potions. If desired, buy 20 Fresh Waters. This will save money, as Lemonade costs 350 (half the price of Super Potions) and restores 80 HP. Fresh Water costs 200 and restores 50 HP. Soda pop costs either 250 or 300 and restores 60 HP. Hidden Nugget: Go to the Copycat’s house in Saffron City. Go to the Chansey downstairs and press A. It will make its normal “Chansey”-type noise. Then, go upstairs to the Copycat’s room. Go to the Pokedoll closest to the stairs and press A. Then, stand in front of the bird Pokemon on the table and press A. Nothing should happen. Then, go to the last doll in the Copycat’s room and press the A. Move one space to the left of the bird on the desk, face the desk, and press A. A “TRAINER found nugget!” message should appear, “TRAINER” being the name of the character in your game. This is very rare and can be sold for 5000. Note: This only works once. Hidden Potion: Catch Pokemon easily: Ineffective poisons: Keep the S.S. Cloning
Ok they had to make it where you could do this on Yellow too!
1. Hook 2 gameboys together
2.One person must have a strong or rare pokemon, and the other person must have a weak and common one.
3. Trade
4. When the trade is almost over it will say waiting.
5.The person who had the rare pokemon 1st turns their GB off, and the other game lets theirs say TRADE COMPLETE.
6. When you turn yur gameboys back on you should both have the rare or strong pokemon.Have Pikachu instantly like you!
When you first start your game, you will have 1 potion in your pc that’s in your room. Get it out. Continue playing the game untill you get Pikachu but haven’t battled Gary’s Eevee yet. Use the potion on Pikachu 5 times (even though it won’t have any effect). Fight Gary and WIN. After the battle, when your Pikachu comes out of the Pokeball. He will like you. Unlimited Rare Candies
I know how to get tons and tons and tons of Rare Candy, but this trick requires N64 and Pokemon Stadium 2 and a Transfer Pack. First, play Pokemon Red or Blue Version and Get Unlimited Rare Candies. Then, store 99 Rare Candies in the PC then 29 Rare Candies. Repeat. Then transfer them in the Color Case in Pokemon Stadium 2. Then plug in the Yellow Version in the transfer Pack and transfer them to either the PC or Pack. Now you have Unlimited Rare Candies in your game. This trick also works with Master Balls, TMs, and stat inhancers (protien). Have fun with your Pokemon and Mewtwo!
Get Eevee
If you are in front of the Celadon City Pokemon Center, go right three squares, go up until you run into bushes, go left until you see an opening in the bushes. When you see the opening, go into it. Then, go left unil you see an opening behind a building. Go into that. Then, go up the steps until they stop. Go right, you will run into a wall, then go down. You will see a door, go into it. You will see an Item Ball on a table. Get it. It contains Eevee.
Get Ice Beam TM
Go to Celadon Dept. Store, go to the rooftop square. Get a bottle of Fresh Water, go talk to the girl who always wants a drink. Give the Fresh Water to her, she will give you TM13, which contains Ice Beam.
Pokemon Blue Cheats

Okay, go to viridan city and talk to the old guy that taught you how to catch pokemon. Say no and he’ll do his demonstration. Then fly to Cynaber Island and surf along the east cost until you see Missingno. Don’t be surprised when you see Pokemon over level 100! Anyway defeat Missingno but never, ever catch it. It can screw up your game. Once you defeat it,in the sixth slot of your items,you will have a lot of that item! If you see a blue box or a box that is colorful next to a low number that means you have alot of it. You could have a ton of master balls,A ton of rare candys, and you could do this cheat as many times as you want!
Note: You have to listen to the oA Weird Symbol
Kay,
If you have used the cheat where you can find
Ponyta, Golbat, Zubat, Missingo., ‘M , Mew, and Psyduck in the water On the Coastline of
Cinnabar Island. Great! Kay This is a weird one..
All you have to do is swimm and run into as many
Missingo.’s or ‘M ’s as you can, but you have
to defeat the pokémon Ponyta and Zubat only. If they pop up defeat them. If Missingo. or ‘M
pops up.. run from them. Do this about 4-5 times
Dont forget about the items in the 6th spot. You need it. After you have been through that about
4-5 times.. check you item list. You will notice that There is a square. use them until it starts
after 0 again. Then you will see a different Symbol
and a 9 beside it. Its weird because it moves.
I used it on Duduo..and it evolved. And then i used it on Omanyte. It evolved. Its cool. Make sure you do it right.

This code follows the missingno. pokemon cheat.
First,fly to Viridian City and talk to the guy pacing.He asks you if your in a hurry say yes.Then,ask him again but say no.Do it again and say no again.{saying no ounce is faster ,but less accurate}Then,fly to cinnabar island and surf half land-half sea on the right side of the island.I forgot put a nugget as your sixth item.
You might run into a level 134 Golduck.You should find a missingno. shortly.Run when you have run into it{DO NOT CATCH IT}.Now you should have more than 100 nuggets.Bike Glitch
With a bike in your inventory, go to Seafoam islands. Get on your bike and drop in any one of the black holes. When you drop down, you will be on foot but the bike music will still be playing. This isn’t a very useful cheat, but its kinda cool.
(P.S. If you surf, get on and off your bike, drop in another hole, or leave the room, the music will stop)
Catch Safari Zone Pokemon out of the Safari Zone and u can use any Pokeballs u want!! There will be
OK, first, go to the safari zone and talk to the guy at the desk. He will ask u a ? and say YES to the ?. Go in and then go out. The guy will ask if u wanted to leave. Say no and go back in. Go in the Safari zone, but DO NOT TAKE A STEP!! Save the game in the safari zone and turn off the power. Turn the power back on and exit the safari zone. Talk to the guy again he will ask if u want to go into the Safari Zone. Stange that he asked u that? I know, i was surprised too. Anyway, exit the building and fly to Cynaber Island and surf up and down on the East Coast (surf on half water/half land). You will come across some battles with safari zone pokemon. U can hurt the pokemon with one of yours to catch it easier, and u can use watever pokeball u want. It is like battleing any wild pokemon. Keep surfing up and down the coast until “Times up!!…” appears on the screen. U will go back to the safari zone and the guy will say something to u then leave. Out side of the safari zone is a land full of glitches. Bulidings slit in half anf random things put all over the place. It’s very stange, but cool at the same time!!
Catching Magikarp in a statue
This cheat only works in the Viridian City Gym. You stand in front of the left statue in the viridian gym and use your old rod and you will get a bite and it will be a Magikarp at level 5 buchange game colours

first turn on the game boy with Pokemon blue or red in it then when it shows game boy and Nintendo under it move the up and down and left and right thing around to pick a colour and if that’s it then leave it and the game will be like green or purple or pink or stuff like that

Here are some tips for choosing your starter pokemon.
Squirtle – If you get Squirtle he will learn the move bubble which will dominate Brock, the first gym leader. But when you get to Cerultean City, it will be a little difficult to defeat Misty unless you have Pikachu or a pokemon that knows a grass type move.
Bulbasaur – This pokemon will defeat Brock and Misty easily but you have to train it hard to make it learn vine whip. But as you move on in the game, grass pokemon will be everywhere so your bulbasaur will be very common.
Charmander – Charmander is weak against Brock’s and Misty’s pokemon, but fire pokemon will be hard to get later on in the game. Charmander will grow to be very powerful, just make sure you have other powerful pokemon early in the game.Cloning Pokemon
Now, this is already posted in the Tips, but I think I can put it into better words. If you follow what the other guy did you might not get the timing right. If you don’t time it right, it can corrupt your game so you have to restart. It’s easy. You have 2 gameboys: One with the pokemon you want to clone, and the other with a pokemon that you don’t mind losing (it will be permanently gone). You go through a trade, and it says “Saving…” then it goes to a blank screen for a split second, and on the gameboy recieving the useless pokemon, when the screen goes blank, turn off your game. The other gameboy will say “Save complete”. Turn off both games, then when you turn them back on, the useless pokemon is gone and both people have the good one.easy way to beat the elite four

Follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have 5 or less pokemon in your party, and at least 2 master balls.
2. Do the Missingno cheat, but this time catch Missingno.
3. Use a rare candy on Missingno if you have one. If you don’t, let Missingno fight a pokemon(make sure he wins!) and he will immediately grow to lvl. 100, and will evolve into Kangaskhan.
4. Here’s the neat part; deposit Kangaskhan into Bill’s PC (don’t worry it won’t mess up) and then release Kangaskhan. The good news is that Kangaskhan is now recorded in your Pokedex and your graphics are not messed up, but the bad news is that you will no longer have Kangaskhan in your party or PC.Level 100 pokemon and over

the real way to get mewtwo!
If you want mewtwo you have to beat the elite four and the cave in cerulean city which was blocked before will be open, surf your way to it and solve the maze inside it, you should see a pokemon, it says “mew” but it is mewtwo, it is lvl.70 and VERY powerful. It is quite easy to catch from my experienece.
Trainers?
I have found that you can find trainers on the side of cinnibar. I have found out why too. It matters on your 2nd 4th and 6th slot of your name! running into pokemon matters on this too. If you have a symbol like the poke or the , in you 6 4 or 2 slot you will run into trainers. All they have are glitchy guys. DANGER!!!!! these trainers can crash your game but with a stroke of safty, they will not corrupt your file so you can still continue.

better way to train pokemon
some cheats posted up here say that if you do the missingo trick, you can use the 99+ rare candys that you get will(if you have the patience) you pokemon up to level 100. this is true,BUT the pokemon that you use the rare candys on will be considerably weaker than if you trained them the hard way. put simply, train your pokemon the hard way as you will get better results.
Duplicate items
To get WELL 99 of an item, put the item you want duplicated in the sixth item slot. Make sure you have the Fly HM, then Fly to Viridian City. Talk to the old man that stopped you in the begining of the game( kind of to the north) When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.
Then Fly to Cinnabar Island, and use the SURF HM. Surf along the right COAST, Not in the water, if you surf in the water it won’t work.
Now, use SURF until you run into a Pokemon called ”M”, ”Missingno.”, Or a Pokemon over level 100 Once you see one of those, kill it or just simply run away. DON’T CATCH THE M OR MISSINGNO. AS IT WILL RUIN YOUR GAME!!!
When fighting a high level M if you have a slow pokemon and it attacks you are screwed, as it has a VERY high attack, you can beat him by simply using a quick attack.
after you win/run look at your sixth item it should look VERY weird with wird symbols and such, don’t worry all it means is you have over 99 once you use it up alot it will stop using symbols and once the supply gets back to 99 it will show up as ”99”
Duplicate Pokemon
You need a link cable, 2 pokemon games, and 2 gameboys for this trick. On 1 gameboy, have a strong pokemon that you both want. On the other, have a weak pokemon that your willing to give up for the other one. Enter Trade mode and trade pokemon. On gameboy 1 (the one with the good pokemon), turn off the gameboy right before it says ”Trade Complete!”. The 2nd GB should say ”Trade Complete!” on it. If done correctly, the bad pokemon on GB 2 should be deleted and replaced with the good pokemon. The good pokemon on GB 1 should still be there.
Get Two Mews
Mostly everybody knows that Mew is catchable in the game. But what very few people know, you can get two Mews. The first one is activated by the fourth trainer from the nugget bridge. To do this, you cant have faught any trainers in the Cerulean Gym, you need an Abra, and pokéballs(about 10). Walk to the left of the Nugget Bridge so you are out of view from the trainer in the grass. Press Down and Start while your player is still moving. Use Abra to teleport back to the Cerulean Pokécenter. Right now the Start button wont work. Walk into the cerulean gym and fight the first trainer in there(She’s the one in the water). Beat her and the Start button will work again so this is your chance to switch your weakest pokémon(not Abra or Magikarp) to the front of your party. Walk back up to the nugget bridge and the Start menu will pop up. Press B and there you have it, Now you can get 2 Mews.

Invisible PC
In Celedon city, there is a hotel in the bottom right-hand corner of the city. In the hotel go to the northern-most portion on the right-hand side, take two steps back then one step up and you will be able to access the pc.
Porygon
If your trying to save up coins for Porygon, all you have to do is save up the money you need, then buy the coins. Playing in the casino can be too expensive.
Glitch City
Glitch City is a weird glitchy town that you can unlock (and get to) by doing the following in this order:
-Go to the Safari Zone (in Fuchia City)
-Enter Safari Zone (pay the 500 bucks)
-Go out of the Safari Zone and when the guy asks you if you want to leave, say ”No”
-Repeat the last step
-Save your game when you are in the Safari Zone, and turn it off
-Turn the game back on and leave the Safari Zone (the guy shouldn’t ask you if you want to leave)
-Go to Cinibar Island and surf half on land and half on water, DO this until a message pops up- ”PA-Ding-Dong, Time’s Up! Your Safari game is over!”
- You will then be transported back to the Safari Zone
-Exit the Safari Zone building and you will be in Glitch Town

Defeat Blaine in water
First, go to Viridian city and talk to the guy that shows you how to catch pokemon and answer “yes” to his question. Then Fly to Cinnabar Island and surf east from the poke’ center. Surf up and down alot until you get to him. He’ll pop up just like a pokemon would. He will have Missingno and other wierd pokemon like that. They are all at level 32.
NOTE: You will have to almost be done with the game.
Capture Legendary Pokemon
Give the legendary pokemon an effective status problem besides confusion then get their life down to the last bit of life. Now use you’re Ultra Balls or Master Ball. If you’re fighting Mewtwo use you Master Ball, but you have to get them in red on the life bar and you have to give them a status problem no matter what if you don’t and you didn’t copy the Master Ball. Then you can can use Ultra Balls, they work too. Also make sure you have room in your box.
Going Fishing
When you use a fishing rod(SUPER ROD, GOOD ROD, AND OLD ROD)press the A button mutiple times until your fishing rod appears in your charachter’s hand. Then press the B button over and over. You’ll have a 90 percent chance of catching something.

Getting a Mr. Mime
Go out the hous along route 2,just outside Veridian City. Someone will trade a Mr.Mime for an Abra.
Getting Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan
If you can defeat Karate Master in his gym, he may give you your own Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan.
Getting a Farfetch’d
A trader in Vermillion City will give you a Farfetch’d in exchange for a Spearow.
My way to beat the Elite 4!
To beat the elite 4 my way easy all you have to do is start out With Charmander and level up only Charmander. And when your at the Elite 4 your Charmander should be at level 60-40.Teach it Flamethrower, Slash, Earthquake, and Hyper beam. It will be invincible! Oh and Your Charmander should be a Charzard.
Blue: How to get raticate, pidgeotto and other pokemon
If you have surf and fly, fly to pallet town and then surf south, not all the way. Until you see a grassy area, go there and you can catch some level 20-30 pokemon. This is some pokemon I found out you can catch:

Pokemon Red Cheats
You must get all 151 Pokemon and go and see Professor Oak in his lab. At that point he will then give you the diploma.
Did you know that you can get a Pikachu that knows the Water technique Surf? Here’s how you can get it (outside of winning a Nintendo Pokemon contest):Surfing Pikachu is hidden in Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64. To teach your Pikachu Surf (a technique it can normally not learn), you need to first unlock the R-2 (Round 2) mode. Then do the following:
- Enter the R-2 Prime Cup’s Master Ball division (you have to beat the first three divisions first).
- Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokémon.Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge.
- You now have to beat the Prime Cup’s Master Ball division using a three-Pokémon team that always contains Pikachu. Pikachu has to be in every one of the eight battles.
- You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won’t get Surfing Pikachu.
Once you have fulfilled all the above conditions, you are shown an award screen with Pikachu standing on a surfboard. From here on, Pikachu can use the Surf technique both in battle and during gameplay (Game Boy versions only). In Pokémon Yellow, you can now also access the hidden Surfing Pikachu mini-game on Route 19.
There is also a GameShark code that lets you access Surfing Pikachu, but we advise against using it, since it can mess up your Pokédex and save data. It’s not worth the trouble.
Follow these instructions to catch pokemon with really high levels.
- Talk to the old man in Viridian City who shows you how to catch pokemon.
- Fly directly to Cinnabar Island.
- Put your strongest pokemon on your team.
- You might want to save now.
- Surf on the shore where the land touches water.
- Keep Surfing until you run into one of these strong pokemon.
These pokemon are well above level 100. Unfortunately, they will revert back to Level 100 if they gain any experience points. Rare Candy is the only thing that raises their level. They can be used in a two-player battle without losing their level, so have fun liquidating your friends!NOTE: This is a bug in the game. It will not work in newer versions of Pokemon and may crash your game if you try it.
At the Game Corner there are secret coins lying around. You can get these coins by walking around and pressing the A button.
Note: This trick requires a nother Game Boy, link cable and Pokemon game. Trade the Pokemon to be cloned, and have the other player select a Pokemon that he or she does not care about. Trade them, and make sure the player receiving the bad Pokemon can see the other player’s screen. When the Game Boy that receives the good Pokemon’s displays “Waiting”, get ready to shut the other Game Boy off. When the “Waiting” message disappears, turn off the Game Boy that is receiving the bad Pokemon. When the “Trade completed” message appears, turn off the remaining Game Boy. Both games will have the same good Pokemon when they are turned back on.
To get 99 of any item, first put the item you want to multiply in the sixth item slot. Now use FLY and go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man almost all the way north of the town. When he asks if you are in a hurry, say no and watch him catch a weedle.Right after that, fly to Fuchsia city. Make your way south and, when you you reach the water’s edge, use SURF and make your way to Seafoam island.
When you get to seafoam island, swim up and down the beach until you run into a Pokemon called “M” (Missingno.) Once you see him, kill him or run away. DO NOT CATCH HIM! After that, you should have multiple copies of your sixth item!
Fight the Elite Four More Than Once
First collect all eaight badges. Then go through victory road. Next beat the Elite Four. After that your Pokemon will become Hall of Famors. Then the credits will show, following by your game resetting. Go back to your Continued Game. You will be back at home. Then fly back and beat them again and again. This helps your higher leveled Pokemon becaus you can still get a few thousand exp.1 more get a bike for me
Get a bike, and put it in the box in Pokemon‘ Center. Now, one should be in your backpack, and one in the box in Pokemon’ Center.

ok, if you don’t like to play with the same color all the time, you can change it to blue, green, yellow, blak, grey and some other colors.
All you have to do is: when you turn on your gameboy, press A or B, and than up, or left,

this is really easy, but if you don’t do it right, you could screw up your game. first, you must have at least one rare candy, and be able to use surf outside of battle. Did you know you can get two mew’s in this game? Well surely you must know about the glitch where you can get one, but you can get two! One in Cerulean adn one near Lavender. First off, restart your game..work your way up to Cerulean. Now…get some Pokeballs and go searching for a semi-weak pokemon and an abra. Once gotten them, heal if need be and stock up on pokeballs again. *Important: Make sure you have not faught the guy left of Nugget Bridge, the guy on the route to Bill’s house…he’s a boy with a level 17 slowpoke and says “My dad took me to this great party on SS Anne!”, the swimmer in Misty’s Gym. the Gambler on the route towards the udnerground path left of Lavender. He holds two Poliwags and a Poliwrath. That’s it! Now, go up Nugget Bridge. Go to the spot where the guy left of the bridge is and make sure he can’t spot you and try to fight you. Now…make sure you’re jsut a step above hime (i.e. you can’t see him on the screen, but if you step down he’ll spot you and fight you) Now save. Then step down carefully adn quickly press start. If you fail to and the guy comes adn fights you, you can restart…it may take some practive, but when you succeed in getting the Menu up before the guy spots you, teleport. Right when the Menu goes down he’ll have an Exclamation above his head, but you will teleport away and he won’t catch you! Now, notice your menu won’t work. Go into the Gym of Cerulean and fight the swimmer *Important: Make sure she has to swim to you to fight you. Defeat her. You’ll notice the Start button will work now. Don’t save, but instead switch to your semi-weak pokemon. Go up Nugget Bridge and the Menu willpop up without warning. Press B to exit and a battle scnece will pop up and a Level 7 Mew will appear! No worries, it only knows Pound. Catch it! If you fail, restart. Now for your Second Mew. I’ve never tried this, and I suggest going the long way, but if you’re risky repeat the stepping down into thr guy left of the bridge, teleport and fight the slowpoke guy, making sure he has to walk to you to fight you. Defeat…Teleport to Cerulean, walk to Nugget Bridge…and the Menu might pop up and you’ll get a shot at Mew! If you wish to wait…get throguh Rock Tunnel, and get Fly. Then go right by the door on the underground route East of Saffron. Step down, press start before the gambler notices you, liek you did in Cerulean. Fly to Cerulean…fight the slowpoke, guy, reminding to make sure he has to walk to you, defeat, fly to Lavender…walk West…ta da! Menu will appear and you’ll get a Mew again!! Horray!
Just so you know, you may be able to get all pokemon without trading, but get the bulbasaur first. Now, in this glitch, you can do this with other trainers, but only use the gambler adn the guy left of the bridge to “step down” and then fly wherever. Note that you can’t go into places where you need Cut or Surf, etc. since the Start Buttom won’t work.

Yes, we see the Mew glitch repeated many times on this page. I’m here to tell you… there’s more! If you fight other trainers instead of the trainer in Misty’s gym or the Youngster with the Slowpoke, different Pokemon will appear! I have seen Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Nidoking, Pikachu, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Omanyte, Electabuzz, Magmar, Pinsir, Scyther, and many others in the wild on my RED VERSION! The Pokemon you fight at Lv.7 is determined by the speed stat of the last Pokemon you fought. This means that fighting wild Pokemon after fighting a trainer will also change the Pokemon you find at Lv.7. I have found about 6 Mews this way. And, if you trade to G/S/C and duplicate, you have an army (or a good trading opportunity with your friends). Happy catching!
Oh, be warned. Missingno. can be found this way, too.
Also, fighting the Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon gives way to a special scenario. Mewtwo is so fast that you don’t find a Pokemon. You battle a random Trainer who has weird Pokemon (For example, Lt. Surge uses Erika’s party on my game). Doing this will sometimes allow you to fight Prof. Oak. Remember, the trainer is random.

This trick may have been posted up here before, but here it goes.
First, make sure to have at least 1 Rare Candy, and make it in the 13th slot in your item list. Then, talk to the guy in Viridian City that teaches you how to catch Pokemon. Now, talk to him and answer no to his question, then he will teach you how to catch a Pokemon. (Just sit by, I know you already know how to do that). As soon as he is done, Fly to Cinnibar Island and Surf on the right ledge. Keep on the ledge until you find a Missingno.. Just run away from him, and you will have a lifetime supply of Rare Candies!
P.S If the list of Rare Candies starts going down to 99, don’t worry about it, even when it reaches 0, just use it, and you will have another supply of them, but when it either goes to 10 a first time, or 99 again, and then it reaches 1, just do that cheat I just showed you and you will have another supply. Okay, guys, I’m sure you all know about the coast of Cinnabar. Talk to the old man in Viridian, then surf up and down the edge of Cinnabar Island. But what most of you do NOT know is that the random Pokemon you see (besides Missingno.) are determined by what you named yourself at the beginning. So if you name yourself R?m?Z?r, and then pick Charmander as your starter, this WILL work. Go through the game normally, until you know surf. Then talk to the old man in Viridian and say no. When he’s done, go to Cinnabar and Surf on the coast. There are 3 Pokemon that you will see: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Missingno. They will all be very high levels, so bring a strong Pokemon.UNLIMITED MONEY!!!
Use the missingno cheat (described below) with a Nugget in 6th position!
1) Go to Viridian City, talk to the old dude near the the exit, and say ‘no’
2) FLY to Cinnibar Island and SURF up and down on the coast (Half land-Half Sea).
3) Fight Missingno and beat him!
Now you should have over a hundred nuggets! Sell SOME OF THEM to a poke mart. Only sell some because you can’t get over 999,999 credits!
NOTE: you may also encouter over level 100 pokemon!

Sometimes quite funny actually!Verified way of getting Mew
Your game may crash, never happened to me, but I’ve read some things. If so happens, I warned you and if you continue reading, it’s not my fault if your game freaks out. So only do this if you have nothing to lose.
To get Mew, make sure you don’t have the badge from Gymleader Misty yet. And also make sure you haven’t arsekicked any of the same Gym’s trainers’ yet. 
In other words, you need to be in the very beginning of the game.
What you need?:
- Some pokeballs, (around 10)
- Abra with a teleport ability, (can be caught west from the bridge where you meet Gary and other trainers. To win a prize, you need to beat the trainers. And to get Mew, you need to beat them as well!)
- Patience in catching Abra, it’s tricky sometimes
- Don’t beat the trainer near the tall grass where you get Abra from unless you want to fail in this Stay on the leftmost side, so the trainer can’t see you.
Alright, now when you have all of those above, you’re ready to get Mew, right? Well… Here’s how it goes:
1. NOTICE! Don’t beat the trainer near the tall grass where you get Abra from!!
2. Now is the time to let the trainer in the “Abra-grass” see you. Move so that you can’t see the trainer in your gameboy’s screen, but you know he’ll see you if you walk anymore down.
3. Save your game, just in case the following fails: Move down, and the same time press the start button, select Pokemon, Abra and teleport back to the Pokemon Center in the city.
4. Your start won’t be working, as the trainer above didn’t get a chance to challenge you, but he did see you. Some sort of a bug, but don’t worry. Now go to the Gym and beat the trainer in the water. The first one in the Gym. Your start-button will work again. Now is the chance to switch a good pokemon for catching a lvl 7 Mew. (That’s the level I got him at)
5. Go outside the Gym, notice !DONT SAVE YOUR GAME!
6. Start walking up the bridge that leads to Bill’s hut, and your Menu (normally appears by pressing start-button) will appear. Press the B Button! And get ready to challenge Mew!
7. Indeed, a level 7 pokemon. It’s only got the Pound-technique. Should be an easy catch.
Weaken Mew first, before you start bombing him with pokeballs. Else it will evade all of them!
8. Once Mew is weakened, try making him to sleep if possible. If not, try paralyzing him. Don’t poison or burn, as it will kill the pokemon if you can’t catch him in a few turns! Mew is catchable even if you don’t change it’s condition, this step is just to make it easier.
9. Now is the time to throw a pokeball at him. Simply, (you should know how, why do I even bother? 
) select Item from the battle-menu. Pokeball… use. There. D’oh.
- If you missed the throw, you should try weakening Mew a bit more. If you didn’t, but it broke free from the ball in a second… hrm, try the following: Once you throw the ball and the ball is in the air, hold both A B buttons. I’m not sure if it’s true, but it might make the ball an Ultra Ball… Some say, even a Masterball. I can’t tell, anyhow. I caught Mew with my 6th ball throw I guess.. I became rather desperate at the 5th, but… yea ^^
You don’t have to believe me, but this cheat works. I have a level 40 Mew in my group at the moment. Mew is rather nice as it can learn all the TMs and HMs and not just that, it’s also a lot stronger and sturdier than any other Pokemon of the same level.
If it somehow doesn’t work, I can’t explain why, because it should. I got this cheat from my friend, he showed me his Mew and I tried it by myself, it worked.

Start a new game.Do not defeat the youngster in Cerulean that has a Slowpoke.Do not defeat the gambler on route eight that has 2 poliwags and 1 poliwhirl.These 2 things are very important.Then go through the Underground path to Celadon.Get fly from the secret house.Then go back to the other end of the tunnel.Save there.Walk down and press start quickly.If the gambler see’s you, close and do it until you get it right.Do not save until you have mew or mew is gone forever.When you do get it fly to Cerulean.As you go you will see the gambler try to battle you.Don’t worry he can’t.Then in cerulean go to the slowpoke kid.Make sure he walks up to you to battle you or you have to start from where you saved.Beat the kid fly to lavender and walk over to the path between route eight and lavender. Get a diploma
To get the diploma catch 150 Pokemon and go and see the designer in the mansion in Celedon City. He will then give you the diploma.
The Invisible PC
In the hotel in Celedon City where the woman says its not a pokemon hotel, go to the far right where a PC would be and press A. You should be working an invisible PC.
Pokémon Pop Quiz
When you go to Blaine’s Gym on Cinnibar Isl., enter, and see those little machines by the trainers that look like cassette tapes? Well, go in front of it and press A to take a pop quiz. If you answer the question right, you won’t have to fight the trainer. You can bypass almost every trainer in there this way. I know the answers, but I won’t tell. I’ll let you decide to see if you’re a tue Pokémon master.
How to get Mew
You must start a new save file and proceed into the game until you reach professor Oak. The professor will give you your first pokemon to train, and it will have a name other than mew (bulbasaur, charmander, squirtle). Once you receive the pokemon, it will ask you to nickname the character. Name the pokemon mew and it will be listed as the 151st pokemon in the pokedex as “mew 151st.
Capture Legendary Pokemon
Give the legendary pokemon an effective status problem besides confusion then get their life down to the last bit of life. Now use you’re Ultra Balls or Master Ball. If you’re fighting Mewtwo use you Master Ball, but you have to get them in red on the life bar and you have to give them a status problem no matter what if you don’t and you didn’t copy the Master Ball. Then you can can use Ultra Balls, they work too. Also make sure you have room in your box. ” The pokemon will show up and fight as mew from this point on.
Going Fishing
When you use a fishing rod(SUPER ROD, GOOD ROD, AND OLD ROD)press the A button mutiple times until your fishing rod appears in your charachter’s hand. Then press the B button over and over. You’ll have a 90 percent chance of catching something.
Getting an Aerodactyl
You must clone it in the Pokemon lab using old amber from the Pewter City museum.
Getting an Omanyte
You have to get a Helix fossil from defeating a supernerd- on Mt. Moon. Then you’ll have to bring it to Cinnabar island.
Getting a Mr. Mime
Go out the hous along route 2,just outside Veridian City. Someone will trade a Mr.Mime for an Abra.
Getting Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan
If you can defeat Karate Master in his gym, he may give you your own Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan.

We all know that the Gyrados in the lake of Rage is a shiny pokemon, well you can get other shiny pokemon as well! Save your game just before you fight an important pokemon (ones that you talk to or come to you automatic in game), and fight it, if its not shiny (you can tell by pressing select, if they three stars next to their gender sign), turn off your game and turn it back on, you should fight it shiny eventually. I don’t belive in cheats but to get a happy healthy (and strong) pokemon read. In the game it doesn’t show you but there are secret things called happiness points. You get 70 points on your pokemon automatically when you cath/recieve it. Happiness points are lost when your pokemon faints, and you gain a point when your pokemon grows a level so it is best to catch pokemon at a young level. Why collect points? because some pokemon like eevee and chamsey evolve when they have a certain amount of points, also it makes your pokemon trust you more and it’s stats will go up. Happiness points will go up in your quest each time you make ??? steps (I don’t know how many yet)also by using vitamins. Blues sis will make the points rise and so will the haircut brothers. Good luck-and if you have not heard of this before I would advize you to start a new game. Oh and if you play a boy catch girl pokemon who usually have better speed,special attack and special defence. If you play a girl catch male pokemon which usually have better attack defence and hp. Heracross and Aipom
To get Heracross and Aipom, get Headbutt from the Trainer in Ilex Forest, them use it on the little trees in Route 29, the route right next to your home town. It has to be in the afternoon, though.How to catch Lugia
Catch a Butterfree and train it till it learns hypnosis, sleep powder or poison powder. the most important is hypnosis, then go to whirl islands in the top right island and go through the cave till you find Lugia floating on the water first make sure you save the game near him just in case you kill him then use your strongest Pokemon to weaken him till he has his HP is red then take out Butterfree and use hypnosis till he is asleep then use an Ulta ball to capture him. If it doesn’t work keep on trying I’m not sure if a Pokeball or Great ball work but there’s a slight chance they will.

You know how it’s hard to see a Yanma for your
Pokedex. Well here is a way. Battle Alan, the school boy, three times and on the third battle time you will see a Yanma. Raiku & Entei
Don’t listen to the thing about ‘you are wasting your time looking for the legendary dogs’ instead, when you get the masterball, go & find a legendary dog & use your m-ball (or save it for ho-oh) the other 1 is difficult, you’ll spend ages, so bring a high level golbat that knows mean look, use mean look(if you have no golbat then put it to sleep)weaken it, put it to sleep, lob ultra balls at it until the cows come home, when it wakes up & flees, look again util you catch it!Shiny Golbat
Go to the ice path and don’t attack anything and evntually you will get a shiny golbat.
Suicune Capture
Suicune is quite hard to catch, so, as usual, stock up on ultra balls. I’d get at least 40, because it takes normally at least 30 balls to catch ‘em.
But there is an easier way. Get a few pink, or pnk, apricorns and bring it to Kurt. He will make a Love Ball. A Love Ball catches Pokemon of a different gender. Suicune has no gender, so alot of those works surprisingly well.

Unlimited Gym Leader Matches
I know that gym leader wins dish out decent amounts of experience points, however I’m not positive if their pokemon are the best to challenge for good stat advancement, but, if they are this should help pretty well. Say you’re trying to train your pokemon team, but one or two are either too strong for their level limit or too weak to handle the gym leader and you’re having issues winning in the wild quick enough, just do this.. save before the gym leader. Fight him/her. Run to the comp, put the pkmn you used in a box. Switch boxes, shut it off as it says ’saving..do not turn off the power.’ SAVE BEFORE THE SENTENCE FINISHES. Turn the game back on, your pokemon will be in the box with the experience and levels it gained from the gym win, and you have the opportunity to rechallenge the gym leader! Of course, you’ll need to if you want the badge. You might want to have the pokemon hold the TM you win so you can make doubles of it while doing this. This could also work if you want to save your vitamins, just save before a comp, use the vitamins, put the pokemon in the box, switch, shut off while saving, turn it back on and voila.. your pkmn will be vitamin enhanced and your vitamins will be intact so you don’t have to buy or copy more.
Duplicate Items/Clone Pokemon
Go to a PC, and save. Attach the item you want to duplicate to the Pokemon you want to clone. Deposit it into the PC. Change boxes. When the screen is saying “Saving the game…” Turn off your GB. Turn it back on. You should have the deposited Pokemon in the PC, and a clone of it in your lineup. The item will either be on both monsters, or in your Backpack. Note: while doing this code, DO NOT withdraw any Pokemon. When the GB is turned back on, you’ll find that the withdrawn Pokemon has been deleted.
Note I: You can duplicate up to 5 items/Pokemon at a time.
Note II: Use this code at your own risk. It may corrupt your save data if done incorrectly.

East way to catch Scyther/Pinsir
In the beginning of the game get a bellsprout and turn it into a weepingbell (turns into one at level 21). then when its the day for the bug catching contest use weepingbell as your one pokemon. Weepingbell should have cut, vine whip, and sleeping powder. Weaken it to about 10-1 hit points left ( estimate the points ) and use sleep powder. throw a park ball and you have a very high chance of catching a scyther/Pinsir. I caught a scyther on my first ball! I wound’nt use stun spore just because you would have a greater chance with sleep powder.
Note: this technique works on the other pokemon too.

It will be a good idea if Feraligator holds Mystic waters to one hit ko Charizard. Onix should hold soft sand to powerup earthQuake to one hit ko espeon. Gengar should hold Quick claw but if you follow this stategy you would not need it.I made hime hold amulet coin,i am so money crazy…(but hey you get 15400 Yen if you do). A electric pokemon should hold a magnet to one hit ko Blastoise. Your weak pokemon can hold Focus band or must know Endure. This could prove very useful while restoring your powerful pokemon.
Strategy:
Red sends out pikachu, (i hope you have beefed up onixs attack by lot of protein) Pikachu has no choice but to try charm or quick attack since electricity doesnt hurt onix, Dont worry about them for this wouldnt cost you anything, how ever charm can cause trouble for the next opponent. 1 or 2 earthquakes will faint pikachu, espeon is sent out (if it uses light screen the strategy could fail )Espeons psycic can cut half hp of onix, an earthquake can cut half of espeons hp.Use X- Defend at your first attack. Espeon uses psycic twice , your onix will remain at Hp 10 and espeon at half hp but you use another earthquake and espeons a gonner.
Next up is venusaur:
Send out gengar(forget onix who has just 5 hp left).Use Confuse ray, Venusaur may hurt itself or use sunny day.Use ice punch, if you are lucky venusaur will remain confused, use ice punch again and bye – bye venusaur,
Next up is snorlax:
Use Confuse ray and then curse Snorlax, Eventually Snorlax will use rest now use Nightmare on it.This should get over in 5 moves, people say snorlax is tough but with combined effects of curse and nightmare it loses 50% hlth at every turn.
Next up is Charizard:
Use feraligator and surf one or 2 times to knock off charizard
Now Blastoise is about to be sent, if you have a high level Electric pokemon use it otherwise keep feraligator there.When Bladstoise is sent out , use full restore on gengar.Blastoise will make feraligator faint, now send out gengar, Use confuse ray and then curse on second turn.Should Gengar faint send out a 5th pokemon and use a max revive on gengar, after weak pokemon faints , bring gengar out again, eventually use ice punch on blastoise and the curse will eventually destroy blastoise.
Red is defeated!
How to get ho-oh:

Hi. OK first for every one who think you can clone pokemon in ruby/saphire or yellow/blue/red, well you can’t, But you can in this game. All you have to do is: 1. Save game by computer. 2. Put Pokemon that you wish two clone in the PC. 3. Switch box. 4. When switching box and it says “Saving don’t off the power” turn off the power. (you must do this right after the final letter shows up.) 5. Turn game back on, and look in your hand, then the P.C., and your Pokemon will be in both.
P.S. To do this trick you need at least two pokemon.
P.S.S. You can clone items by putting the item on the Pokemon.
P.S.S.S. You don’t have to clone the Pokemon once over and over. When you clone the Pokemon just put both the cloned Pokemon in the P.C. and it will give you 4. You may do this with 5 pokemon at a time.

To capture Lugia, you need one heavy ball then go to the Whirlpool Islands near Cianwood Island. But first you need HM06 and the Silver Wing by defeating Team Rocket in the city before BlackThorn, and also defeating Team Rocket in the Radio Tower. Then after you get those items, go to Whirlpool Islands. Use Whirlpool to get past the whirlpools, then work your way through the maze. A Lugia (Lv.40) should be at the end.when you see lugia click on him use armfhars make sure you have thunderpunch lugia will do safe guard and then do thunderpunch lugia will do recover keep doing that until life guard fades away then catch it with heavy ball.
Changing Your Name Without Starting a New Game
First start a new game but turn it off when it asks for yout name. Now turn the game back on and it should say your name is wrong. Make up a new name and now you have new name easy as pie!Cloning Pokemon

This is the way to start with the three starting pokemon (Cyndaquil, Totodile & Chikorita).
1st – Start a new game and save it b4 u choose a pokemon.
2nd – Choose one pokemon.
3rd – Get the pokedex, fight with your rival, go to Elm’s Lab, answer the questions and get the 5 pokeballs.
4th – Catch a pokemon.

Infinite money and stronger pokemon
I did this cheat with a red garydos, First give garydos(or another pokemon) a nugget(this item can be a rare candy for stronger pokemon), then clone it by saving infront of the pc in the pokemon center, deposit garydos in any box exept six, then change the box to anything but six and turn it off when ‘don’t turn off the power’ appears, turn it on and continue, if u look at ur team ur garydos will be in it. if u load up your pc a garydos will be in there, they will both be holding the same item now sell the nugget (cost about 5000 coins) or use the rare candy (level up pokemon by one)on your team. although i haven’t tried this next tip i’ll tell u incase it works, mr pokemom will trade your red garydos for an exp share, if you clone the red garydos 6 times, then go to mr. pokemon and swap the red garydos for an exp share. then go with another red garydos and maybe he will swap it for another exp share. if this works trade 5 of them (u dont need anymore because u have a team of six and one gains exp by fighting 5 are unused), then give them to your party that aren’t fighting first and your whole team should gain exp (i don’t know if this works as i haven’t tried it yet)
Legendary Pokemon
Here are the locations of the Legendary Pokemon.
Lugia: Find Lugia in the Whirl Islands. I am pretty sure that it is on the bottom right corner.
Ho-oh: Find Ho-oh in the Tin Tower. You have to go through 10 floors
Entei/Suicune/Raikou: These Pokemon are probably the hardest ones to find. To find them though, first buy about 50 Max Repels. If you are short on money, about 5-10 of them will do. Now search any grassy area of the Johto region. You will not find them in Kanto. When you get in the grassy area, use the Max Repel. This Repel with keep away any pesky weak Pokemon. Keep using the Max Repel on where you are until you find either Entei, Suicune, or Raikou.
Note: You need to activate them first in the Burned Tower. To do that, you must have a Pokemon that can learn the move Rock Smash. Go to the left side of the Burned Tower and destroy the Rock that blocks away and defeat the trainer. Go through the hole in the middle of the Tower, then go up to where Entei, Suicune, and Raikou off. They will scatter in 3 directions. Now you may catch them.
New Pokemon Cloning Method
You need two gameboys and a link cable to do this. On one Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal game(Game 1),get one Pokemon you want to clone and on another(Game 2) get one Pokemon that you don’t want.(Example: a really weak Pokemon you have a lot of)Make sure it’s one you don’t want because after this it won’t exist anymore. Trade these two Pokemon and after it trades when it says WAITING! on Game 1 and Trade completed! on Game 2 turn both games off and if this worked you should have the Pokemon you wanted to clone on both games! But be careful with this because I found it by trading two Pokemon between my Silver and Crystal games and my Silver game said Trade completed! and my Crystal game had glitched and said WAITING! still and I was tired so I didn’t think and I turned off both games and now I have two Umbreons and my Espeon disappeared! I think this should work with any Pokemon game but I am not sure.
This cheat is NOT verified and I just found it by accident.

Use the duplicate trick to clone about 30 rarecandies. When you have them in your pack save your game the give every rare candy to your pokemon except 1 (just in case)then deposit your pokemon go to switch boxes when it says saving dont turn off the power. turn it off when it hits POW then turn it back on in your paryt will be your pokemon at old level will be their and in your box will be your new pokemon at new level..repeat until pokemon is at level 100!
Tauros
To catch a Taurus, go to Ecruteak City. Then go left, thru the building, and into route 38. Go to the patch of grass by the man. Search and search until a Taurus comes. But when you find one and think you can easily weaken it and catch it, think again!!!!!! I am not sure about this but I think wild Taurus can fled…….
A Shiny Unknown
If you like shinys then go to Ruins of Alph. Complete the first picture to activate the Unknown because it’s the only Pokemon down there. Search for a while and you’ll find a shiny Unknown.
Beating Lance
Beating Lance is hard, especially after having to get through the Elite Four:
Ampharos lvl 4x
Typhlosion lvl 4x
Pidgeot lvl 4x
(Red) Gyardos lvl 37
Lugia lvl 4x
and any pokemon you want for the sixth one.
Get through the Elite Four, and make sure you have a bunch of revives, potions, and ethers (for lugia’s aeroblast). send ampharos out on lance’s gyrados. one thunderpunch should do the work. send ampharos out for dragonite #1. Use thunderpunch, and iron tail. for dragonite #2, use gyrados (make sure it knows Icy Wind) and hit him with icy wind. lowers speed, and keep using it. for aerodactyl, send out ampharos. if fainted, send out a decoy, and use revive. make sure ampharos is at full health before fighting, ’cause aerodactyl’s rock slide kills ampharos in two hits. use 1-2 thunderpunches. for dragonite, use lugia. i cannot remember the last pokemon, so be prepared.

Yet another way to catch them. Release them at the Burned Tower, run into them at least once. (so you can see where they are) Get a Pokemon that is fast, level 39, knows a sleep move, (dont use spider webs, it knows roar, and escapes) and another pokemon that knows false swipe and cut. Then begin to track them. I would fly to Violet City and check where they are. If one is an EVEN number of routes away, walk toward it, along those routes. It sometimes goes toward you, but sometimes doesn’t. If you end up in the same route, use cut on all the grass until there is only 2 squares of grass left that are side by side. It wont work with one. Use a repel and search in the grass with your level 39 sleeper at the top. It should appear after a short while. Use your sleep move, switch to the false swipe pokemon, whittle down its health, and use a ball. You might catch it, depending on the ball. (ie if its a master ball.) Good luck.

Freeze your Game Clock
This is strange, but also permanent, so only do this if you want your clock to remain set on a certain day. To do this, go to Vermillion City and talk to the Machop that is stomping on the ground. After you talk to him, open your Pack, go to Coin Case, and look at how many coins you have. Your game will either freeze or reset, so you must reset if it freezes. When you do, your game clock will be frozen in that exact time unless you use another code to change the time, which is possible.
Special Poke Balls
You can give Apricorns to the Poke Ball maker in Azalea Town to get new types of Poke Balls. Here is a list of what they’re good for.
White Apricorn: Fast Ball — Good for catching Pokemon that try to escape from battle quickly.
Red Apricorn: Level Ball — If your Pokemon’s level is significantly higher than the wild Pokemon’s, it will be an easy catch.
Blue Apricorn: Lure Ball — Good for catching Water types when fishing.
Pink Apricorn: Love Ball — If the wild Pokemon’s gender is opposite that of your Pokemon’s you’ll have an easier catch.
Black Apricorn: Heavy Ball — Big enough to catch heavy Pokemon like Snorlax.
Green Apricorn: Friend Ball — Pokemon caught with Friend Balls will become very attached to their trainer. Good for Chansey (if you want it to evolve into Blissey).
Yellow Apricorn:Moon Ball — Good for catching Pokemon that evolve with Moon Stones, like Clefairy and Jigglypuff.

There are a couple of Pokemon that only evolve when traded with another trainer. Some trade evolutions also require that the Pokemon holds a certain item when traded. Here’s the list:
- Kadabra – Alakazam

- Poliwhirl – Politoed (hold King’s Rock)
- Onix – Steelix (hold Metal Coat)
- Scyther – Scizor (hold Metal Coat)

- Seadra – Kingdra (hold Dragon Scale)
The ruins of Alph are home to the mysterious Unown (#201), the only Pokemon that exists in more than one shape. Solving the different sliding-tile puzzles will drop you into the ruins below, where you can capture the mysterious Pokemon. In the beginning, you can only access one puzzle (the solution is Kabutop). You can get to the rest of the ruins once you have Surf and Strength. Surf lets you swim to the south cave which contains a puzzle of Aerodactyl. The other two puzzles are reached through the Union Cave using Surf and Strength. The puzzle to the southwest is an Omanyte, while the one to the west is a picture of Ho-oh.The more puzzles you solve, the more varieties of Unown will be available to be caught. (There are 26 variations in all, one for each letter of the English alphabet. Ruins of ALPH, get it?). Once you have caught at least three different shapes of Unown, go to the Alph Lab just outside the first entrance. You will receive an upgrade to your Pokedex that lets you view and collect the different shapes of Unown.
After you have caught all 26 shapes of Unown, you should return to the lab. Using the machine in the corner, you will now be able to use the Unown shapes to create and print out banners using the “Unown font” (if you have a GB Printer).
Set Your Clock For Daylight-Savings
Return to your house and talk to your mother. She will ask you if you want to set your clock to Daylight-Savings time.
Having trouble finding those really rare Pokemon in Gold/Silver? No problem, IGN’s here to help:
- Ho-oh — There is only one Ho-oh in Gold and Silver, so make sure you catch it. You can find it on top of the Tin Tower, but you’ll need the Rainbow Wing to go up there. You get the Rainbow Wing from the Radio Station Manager in Goldenrod City (Gold version) or the old man in Pewter City (Silver version).
- Lugia — You can find Lugia in Whirl Island, off Route 41. You’ll need to know the HM 06 Whirpool technique to get in as well as the Silver Wing. You can find the latter in Pewter City (Gold) or the Radio Station in Goldenrod City (Silver).
- Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil — These are the three starting Pokemon in Gold/Silver. You have to pick one of the three — if you want the others, you’ll have to trade with a friend.
- Entei, Suicune, Raiko — Dogs, cats, what are they? Who cares! They’re cool and they’re exceedingly rare. To catch these guys, go to the Burned Tower in Ecruteak City. When you get close to them, they will run away. After this brief encounter, these fast creatures will roam around Johto. So where do you find them? Check your Pokedex and have some Fast Balls ready.
- Togepi — Professor Elm’s assistant will give you an egg in Violet City after you beat the Gym Leader there. It will hatch into Togepi.
- Tyrogue — You can get this young Fighting Pokemon from Blackbelt Kyo (if you have an empty slot in your party) in Mt. Mortar, or simply breed one using Hitmonchan or Hitmonlee and a Ditto.
- Sudowoodo — This odd Rock type blocks your way on Route 36 (just like Snorlax). Use the Squirtbottle from Goldenrod City to battle it.
- Porygon — You can get Porygon for 9,999 coins in the Celadon City Game Corner.
- Snorlax — Snorlax is blocking the way into Diglett’s Cave. Use the Poke Flute to wake it up.
- Eevee — Apart from winning an Eevee in Pokemon Stadium or the Celadon City Game Corner, you can also get one at Bill’s House.
- Aerodactyl — There is only one Aerodactyl in Gold/Silver, but it’s not that hard to get. Catch a Chansey and trade with the girl on Route 14 to get it.

In basement of Dark Cave there is a Lapras that appears every Monday. Catch the rare beast, for it’s the only one in the game. It appears every Monday, so catch as many as you want.
Want more pokemon cloned?
Go to any pokemon center you can find. First, deposit however many pokemon you want cloned in any box but six.Now,switch to box six,and when it says DO NOT TURN OFF GAME turn it off. When you turn it back on and start the game you should have all the pokemon you put in eithet box six or the box you put them in before box six.REMEMBER, you have to deposit the pokemon out of your party.
Catch the 3 legendary dogs
Okay, to catch the 3 legendary dogs, you have to have found (but not caught or defeated) at least one of them first. Then go to your Pokedex to find out where they are. WARNING!!! DO NOT FLY!
If you use fly there is a 99.3% chance that they will have ran to the other side of the map by the time you have landed. Also, Raikou is VERY tricky when it comes to chasing him. What he does is runs towards you, then when you get to that area, he is already back to where he started, or has jumped half way across the map. Entai is slowest and will still in an area until you get there IF you are about 30 seconds from that area. And Suicuine is almost impossible unless you use fly to a city that you can get from one side of the map to the other in about 25 minutes. REMEMBER! Don’t FLY!!!

Get all Eevee evolutions
Pick up the Eevee in Goldenrod city. It doesn’t matter if it is male or female. Then catch a Ditto and give the Eevee and the Ditto to the Daycare man and lady.
Come back in a couple minutes and you will have an egg. It will hatch into Eevee. Do this 6 times and you will have all Eevee evolutions when they evolve.Heracross
if you want a heracross, the best place to catch him is on the road to the bug catching contest area, go into that area with all the grass, right by the bridge, turn right into the grass and headbutt trees. he can be found really easily there. although it may take while.Unknown pokedex
Catch more than three unknown and go to the house and talk to the professor and he will give you the unknown pokedex.
Pokemon Gold Hint: Find/Capture/Enslave Lugia
After you beat the Pokemon League, go to Viridian City and talk to a man near the Poke Mart. If you have all the badges, he will give you the Silver Wing. Then go to Cianwood City and surf to the Whirl Islands. Explore the cave thoroughly and you will find Lugia (L40).Chikorita: A Grass-type Pokemon with girlish looks, Chikorita is the most challenging of the three starting Pokemon. It’s not particulary strong against any of the Pokemon you’ll encounter in the first part of the game (in fact, it’s extremely weak against most of the Gym Pokemon!), so you must spend a lot of time leveling it up and building a team of support Pokemon. Chikorita is recommended for experienced Pokemon Trainers or players who want an extra challenge.
Totodile: This Water-type Pokemon is a good, all-around choice for a starting Pokemon. It’s greatest strengh lies in its flexibility. Of the three starting Pokemon, it can use the most HMs and has no weaknesses against the Pokemon you encounter in the beginning of the game. This is a great starting Pokemon for any player.
Cindaquil: Known for its fiery quills, this Fire-type is the strongest of the three starting Pokemon. In fact, you can make it through most of the game on the strengh of his Pokemon alone. (It’s final form, Typhlosion, is extremely powerful!) Choose Cindaquil if you’re playing the Silver version and your Typhlosion and Lugia will take out the Elite Four easily! Cindaquil is the best choice for new players and those who want to speed through the game.

Celibi
Many say that it is imposible to get celibi but i figured out this good cheat. First you must get a male Abra and a Ditto. Get them both at levle 30+ and let them both hold an everstone. Then take them to the breading ground. They will have an egg and it should be a Celibi if the code is done right. If you take them to the daycare center to get them to 30+ the code will not work, they should have had and egg by them, but if they haevent then try this code but it may not work.
Tyranitar

Battle Frontier- Catching pokemon
When you first explore the battle frontier, go to the BATTLE PALACE, and go to the southwest corner. SURF to the other side, and you will first see a little old lady.
continue down the path south of the lady until you notice a strange tree that moves when you press A.
This is a sudowoodo, origianlly found in the GSC versions.
To battle it, use the WAILMER PAIL on it. You have only one chance to catch it, so don’t screw it up.After that, you can SURF on the water that the Sudowoodo was blocking. SURF down the WATERFALL, and keep surfing left (there are no fish or anything in the water, so don’t bother.)
After a while, you will surf to a cave known as the ARTISTAN CAVE. Go inside, and as you explore the cave, you will find many stat items in the boulders (carbos, etc.) The only pokemon in this cave is SMEARGLE. (hence, the ARTISTAN cave.) The SMEARGLE are generally level 41 to 50. They can only use sketch once before they start struggling.

There are certain pokemon that can only be caught when you trigger certain events, like castform.
Fishing rods
To get the old rod, go to dewford town and talk to the fisherman near the gym. He will give you a old rod. To get good rod, talk to the fisherman on route 118, east of mauville city. You must need surf to reach him. Talk to him and you will get good rod.
To get super rod, go to mossdeep city and go north of the space center and go into the house. The man inside will give you super rod.

Getting Latias Or Latios
After you defeat the Elite Four, go to your house and watch the television downstairs. After you watch it, your mom will ask you what color the Pokemon is. If you say Red, you will find Latias. If you say Blue, it will be Latios.
Shiny pokemon
Every time you encounter a pokemon you have a 1/8192 chance of the pokemon being a different color, this is called a shiny pokemon
Mystery Gift
To unlock mystery gift, go to a pokemon mart and press A on the piece of paper on the counter. Then insert the words LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL. Press select to easily find the words. After this the store lady will talk to you and tell you that mystery gift is now unlocked.
Shedinja
To get Shedinja, you must first catch a Nincada, and have an empty space in your party. People say you need a Pokeball for it, but you do NOT. Shedinja copies the ball the Nincada was caught in.
Anyways, with one empty space in your party, level up Nincada to level 20. It will evolve into Ninjask. When you check your party, you will see Shedinja sitting in the final slot, along with the Ninjask and 4 other Pokemon.
Mirage Island
Mirage Island is an invisble Island located on Route 130. Most of the time it will be invisible but on rare cases, the island will be visible. To find out if the island is there or not, go to Pacifidlog Town and talk to the old man in the bottom right house looking out the window. He will tell you wheter the island is there or not. The cause is unknown so a bit of luck is needed to find it. On the island you will find the rare Leichi Berry that powers up your Pokemon’s attack in battle when it gets weak. In the grass, you will only find Wild Wynauts.
Glass Items
On Route 113, to the right of Fallobour Town, is house in which a man will make you items if you bring him ash. To collect ash, walk through the ash covered grass. Then bring it to the glass item maker.

Rare new attack for Pichu
Pichu may learn an extremely powerful attack after meeting certain criteria. The attack is called “Volt Tackle”. It has a Base Attack Power of 120, accuracy of 100, and 15 PP. The only negative side is that the user takes 1/3 of the given damage.In order to get Volt Tackle on your Pichu, you first need one Female Pikachu holding the Light Ball item. You may then use one of the following to breed with Pikachu: Ditto, Male Raichu, or Male Pikachu. No other Pokemon will work.After finishing the breeding process, hatch the Egg, and inside will be your lovely little Pichu with the Volt Tackle attack! This may be transferred to Pikachu or Raichu if you wish.
Mew In Emerald
You can find Mew at World Edge’s Island. It will play hide and seek with you. After you found Mew, he will attack you. He will be at Level 30 so be prepared.

How to battle Steven for the last time
To battle Steven for the last time go to Meteor Falls and go up the water fall and explore the place. You will see Steven and you can battle him. He has a level 77 Skarmory, 75 Claydol, 76 Aggron, 76 Cradily, 76 Armaldo, and 78 Metagross.
How to get the Root and Claw fossil
To get the root or claw fossil a second timego to route 114. (Left of Fallarbor Town)Then when you are all the way left there is a house. Go in it and you will be in a tunnel. Go all the way through it and you will find the root or claw fossil. (The one you didn’t get before)
How to get a lot of fans
To get a lot of fans do these five things:
1. Beat the pokemon league.
2. Become the Battle tower champian.
3.Become the cable club battle champian. (In other words go to the pokemon center and to the upper level where you can battle your friends. You have to beat forsure one friend in the single battle mode, double battle mode, and the multi battle mode)
4. You have to win a battle in your secret base.
5. Beat the master rank contest mode.
Now you should have many fans. Also I’m pretty sure you get one star on your trainer card to get a different color card.
Eon ticket
Mix records with a Ruby or Sapphire that has an Eon ticket, and Emerald will get the Eon Ticket. Use it at the SS Tidal to go to Southern Island, after the E4. You’ll find a forest area that has an egg in the middle. Press A at the egg to find the Lati@s you did not choose. ex. If you said you saw a Blue Pokemon on the TV(Latios) you will encounter Latias, and vice versa.

Clone Pokemon
NOTE: This cheat is a long one but it does work and it is really useful and it doesn’t corrupt your game!!!
This cheat will clone your pokemon exactly (it will have the same moves, the same PP, the same HP, the same exp points and the same level and if the pokemon you want cloned is holding an item it will clone the item two).
1. Go to Battle Frontier.
2. Go to the Battle Tower.
3. Make sure that box 9 is empty (there is a pc in the top right-hand corner at battle tower).
4. Deposit the [pokemon that you want cloned into box 9.
5. Exit your pc and SAVE.
6. Once saved enter your pc and withdraw that same pokemon that you deposited in to box 9.
7. Talk to the Link Multi Battle Lady.
8. She will ask you want you want to do, then she will show you a list of things that you can do, choose Challenge and select either LV. 50 or Open Level.
9. Select your two pokemon.
10. She will ask you to save, say yes. There should be a short pause.
11. Then just press A, B, Start, Select simultainously. This will reset your game.
CONGRATULATIONS your pokemon are now cloned. To get the cloned pokemon just go to box 9.
Once you have memorised this cheat it does not take a long time to do.
Clone Your Pokeballs (Even Masterballs!)
Before you clone your pokemon give them the pokeball you want to have more of then clone your pokemon. When you go to your PC your pokemon should be holding a Pokeball. Repeat as many times that you want!
Pokemon LeafGreen Cheats
Mystery Gift
Go into any Pokemon Center and go to the Clipboard by the Shop Owner. Go to it and you can put in 4 words. Put in the words “Link Together With All.” The Shopkeeper will notice this and give you access to the Mystery Gift system. Now save your game and reset and when you go to re-load it will be right below “New Game.”
How to find the legendary bird pokemon
There are three legendary bird pokemon. Their locations are as followed:
Articuno: found in the seafoam islands, requirements: HMsurf, HMstrength
Zapdos: found in the power plant, requirements: HMsurf
Moltress: found in the cave by cerulean city, requirements: all HM’s, beaten the elite four

Beat the first 7 gyms.
Deoxys
To catch deoxys go to one of the rainbow islands find a tree with a triangle pointing to it a press A on it and it will start spinning don’t touch the corners now if the triangle is pointing to the tree the island will start moving then the tree will turn into deoxys.
Good moves
If you want to have a really strong team to prepare for the Elite Four, and you have all three starter pokemon, you should have venusaur learn Frenzy Plant and SolarBeam, Charizard learn Blast Burn and Fire Blast, and Blastoise learn Hydro Cannon and Hydro Pump. Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon, and Frenzy Plant are like the fire, water, and grass versions of Hyper Beam and cause as much damage as Hyper Beam (not counting weaknesses and strengths).
Rainbow Islands
To get the first 3 Rainbow Islands,first beat the Cinabarn Gym and when u get out, Bill will give you a pass to go on a boat in Vermillion City at where the S.SAnne was,and you can go to the first 3 Rainbow Islands.
Saving Time in the Safari Zone
When you are in the Safari Zone, it counts the number of steps you take to determine the amount of time you have left. Well, if you want to catch a rare Pokémon, but don’t want to run out of time, enter the grass, then lightly tap the directional pad. You will change the way you are facing, but it will not count as a step. You can have near-infinite time in the Safari Zone doing this. It is helpful when some Pokémon, such as Chansey, appear in only one section of the Zone.

Baby Pokemon Eggs
To get a baby Pokemon first catch a Ditto(catch at routes 13 and 14, Pokemon Mansion and Cerulean Cave) and get another compatible Pokemon. E.g a Pokemon that is either a boy or girl. It has to be one or the other. Then go to four Island (where Lorelei lives) and go to the day- care center. The woman inside asks if you want her to take care of 1 or 2 of your Pokemon. Give her Ditto and the other Pokemon. Then exit and ride around on a bike for a while. Go back and talk to the man at the day- care fence. If he says “We were so suprised, your Pokemon had an egg. I don’t know how it got there, but do you want it?” Say yes and he will give you the egg. Again, ride around on the bike and eventually it will hatch. It will be a baby form of the boy or girl Pokemon you put in day- care earlier! Now you have your baby Pokemon!
Celebi
It will appear wild in the Victory Road after you get Mew.
National Dex
Have over 60 pokemon in your pokedex and defeat the elite four. Go to pallet town and see the professor and he will give you the national dex

Aerodactyl
To get the ancient pokemon aerodactyl, go to the house to the right of the museum at pewter city. Note: you must have cut. Talk to the sciencist and he will give you the old amber. Take the old amber to the lab at cinnabar island and give it to a sciencist and let him bring it to life.
Celebi
You can get this rare pokemon by 2 ways: the easy way is getting the action replay in my forum thread, the hard way, you must get mew defeating the elite four 12 times and celebi will appear wild in the victory road.
All 3 legendary birds
So here’s how you get all 3 legendary birds it’s easy if you have gotten up to Blaine and beaten him.
Moltres-Just beat Blaine, then Bill will talk to you and show you the 3 rainbow islands.go to island 1 and search north until you find Mount Ember and go to the top Moltres is there the best ball to catch it is with an ultra ball.
Zapdos-You have to go to rock tunnel and just above the pokemon centre there is water surf until you get to the bottom and go into the power plant in there is Zapdos 3 chances at an elctrode magnemites and some magnetons.
Articuno-you get Articuno un the seafoam islands just go through the cave in there head north and go down the laddar there is some boulders 2 infact just push them into the hole that is there you have to do it twice when you do the first go down the hole with it get back up there and do it with the second the currents will then take you to Articuno.
Gengar
To obtain Gengar, you must trade a Haunter with a friend with Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green using the wirless adapter or GBA link cable.
Trading With Ruby/Sapphire
As you know, it is possible for Ruby/Sapphire to trade with Leaf Green and Fire Red. However, for these games to be able to trade to each other, you require 2 stones that must be given to Celio so that he can work his long-distance trade link machine.
To obtain the Ruby, you must defeat the Elite Four and have 60 Pok’emon owned on your Pok’edex. Professor Oak will give you a National Pok’edex. Now travel to 1 Island and talk to Celio.
After talking to him, go to Mt. Ember and battle the 2 Rockets who are guarding a cave. Once they are defeated, enter the cave and make your way to a room with a gem stone in the middle of it. Grab it and give it to Celio.
He will give you a RAINBOW PASS. Use this to get to 4 Island. Enter the Ice Cave and go up the Waterfall. Enter the door and make your way into a new room where Lorelei will be standing. When a Rocket challenges you, defeat him and then make your way to 6 Island. Go South to the Dotted Hole and Cut down the door. Go inside and jump down the hole in the middle of the room.
Now you will be in a weird room with 4 holes and braille in the middle. Jump down the holes in this order: UP, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN. You will see the Sapphire, when you try to grab it, a Scientist will snatch it. He will tell you the second password to the Rockets Warehouse.
Go to 5 Island and go to the Meadows. Travel South and find the Rockets Warehouse. Once found, enter and make you way to the Scientist. It may be hard to get to him with the confusing magic tiles, but you will get there.
Once you reach him, battle him and once he is defeated he will give you the Sapphire. Now return to 1 Island and give it to Celio.
Now he will establish a link with the Hoenn Region and trading between Ruby/Sapphire and Leaf Green/Fire Red will be enabled!
Easier way to get one of the Legendary Dogs
Have you already used the MasterBall on Mewtwo or on one of the Legendary Birdies? Then there is a way to get the Legendary Dog based on your Starter. Catch a Wobbuffet in the Cerulean Cave around Lvl 58 or higher. You should find one if you go deeper where the levels are higher on that floor.
Once if you have a Wobbuffet, Put him in the first Slot and look for the dog. If you already have seen him. then you must look for the nest in the Pokedex. The dog will change from area if you reach a new area/walk into a building/or Fly to another city, be carefull.
If you are on the same area as the dog, don’t leave the area but just look for him in the grass. The Dog will appear in a battle. if you notice, you’ll hear a special Wild Pokemon Battle Music. If Wobbuffet appear in battle. the dog can’t flee, cause Wobbuffet’s Shadow Tag Abbility makes Wild Pokemon or Trainers unable to switch or run. And that’s your chance to weaken the dog, and toss Balls, make sure you have major balls around the 100, and enough Potions to heal obbuffet,
cause the dog will fight instead of running.

To delete your saved game data hold select, Up, and B befor you press start to begin the game.
Espeon
First when in Celdon City get an Eevee from the entrance around the building where and old lady gives you tea. Go upstairs to the roof where a man inside says he knows everything about pokemon. Get the pokeball and Eevee will be inside at level 25. Train it and the more it loves you the more it is happy. When it becomes happy at a certain rate it will evolve into Espeon.
Togetic (without trading from Colloseum)
Go to a man near Five Island. If he tells you, the first Pokemon in your party is happy, he’ll give you an egg. It will hatch into a Togepi. Use some Carbos, Protein, Rare Candies etc. on it. Give it an Exp. Share to hold. That way it will gain levels without battling. At a level in the 30’s, it will evolve into Togetic. You can also trade Togetic from Colloseum.
The Best Starter
The best Starter is BULBASAUR.
Tauros
Tauros can be found in the safari zone.Its extremely hard.The best place to find it is in the grass-patch before the house where you get surf(in the safari zone).
Get the chance to get the 3 dogs!
In FireRed, and LeafGreen you can get the 3 dogs depending on your starter pokemon. Here are the steps:
1: Beat the Elite Four
2: Randomly in the wild, you can get 1 of the 3 dogs by your starter pokemon.

a ditto into the daycare center. After a short while, the old man

To get a Celebi, you first have to do the unthinkable. On your
FIRST time through the Elite Four, you have to get to the
champion. And lose. After this, talk to Professor Oak and he will
battle you with very weak pokemon. Afterwards he will give you
Celebi.
Hint: Get all starters
To get all the starters (Bulbasaur,Charmander, and Squirtle), you will need two Game Boy Advances and another Pokemon GBA game. Start with Bulbasaur, then trade it to your other Pokemon game. After that, start a new game. Start with Charmander and trade it. Then, start another new game and start with Squirtle. Keep Squirtle and catch two Pokemon that you do not want. Trade them for the other two starters you traded to your other Pokemon game. You will now have all three starters.
Pokemon Fire Red Cheats
Enable trading to Ruby and Sapphire Fix the Network Machine on Island 1. This is done by getting both the Sapphire and Ruby (in game items) and bringing them to the machine Get the National Dex (JP Version)

Mystery Gift
Go to any Poke Mart and click on the clipboard near the shopkeeper. The clipboard is a questionaire. Type in the 4 words “Link Together With All” and the shopkeeper should notice and gives you access to the Mystery Gift system. Save the game and restart. At the Front Menu, there should be a new option called “Mystery Gift” With Mystery Gift, you can unlock many things.
Mystic Ticket/Lugia and Ho-Oh you can download the mystic ticket at Nintendo Events allowing you to go to Navel Rock, where Lugia and Ho-Oh are located.
Aurora Ticket/Deoxys you can now download the Aurora Ticket at Nintendo Events. This allows you to go to Birth Island, where Deoxys is located

7.Catch deoxys and your done ( he is level 30 )
TIP: I have included this tip because deoxys is exremly hard to
catch.Use a master ball if you have one by the way.Try to get
deoxys on to a low line of health like on red and get him to sleep
after throw ultra balls at him and try to catch him it took me 192
tries to catch him. Use weak pokemon around the level 40 mark to
catch him.
Get Celibi:
Go to the Safari Zone and go to the water and surf. Use your fishing rod in the water. Go to the elite four and lose. Then go to Professer Oak and talk to him. He will battle you, if you win, he will give you Celibi. If you lose you will have to start again.

To get all three Legendary Dogs, get together with two friends before any of you start the game. Have one player get Charmander,another get Squirtle, and the other get Bulbasaur. Each of you will get one of the legendary dogs: Charmander, Suicune; Squirtle, Raikou; and Bulbasaur, Entei. Once each of you has their own dog, trade one dog for another. For example, player one’s Suicune for player two’s Entei; player three’s Raikou for player one’s Entei; and Player three’s Raikou for player two’s Suicune.
Unlimited way to stop Sleeping
After get the Pokéflute. Use it in battle when a Pokémon from your side is asleep. It will awake so you doesn’t need “Awakening” anymore. You can use it as much as you can!
Hint: Zapdos
To catch a Zapdos, go to the Pokemon Center beside the Rock Cave. From the Pokemon Center, go up until you reach water. Surf to the Power Plant and go inside. Find your way around, and at the end you will find Zapdos, the Thunder type Legendary Bird.
Hint: Articuno
Surf south from Fuschia until you hit a barrier. Then, Surf west to the Seafoam Islands. When you see boulders, push them into the pits to reach the legendary bird Articuno.To delete your saved game data hold select, Up, and B befor you press start to begin the game.
How to get your legendary dog Pokemon
The way to find Rayku, Entei, or Suicune you must catch all the Unowns, A-Z and ! and ?. After you cought all 28 Unowns, you will find Rayku, Entei, or Suicune roaming around Kento. You could catch it with many tries with the Ultra Ball, but if you haven’t already foolishly used your Master Ball, it would be wise to catch your legendary dog Pokemon with the Master Ball. It depends what your starter Pokemon what legendary dog Pokemon you will find.

The real place to find Moltres is to get to First Island(after u beat Blaine Bill will take you there),go to the island with M.Ember, and keep going through each part until u see a giant red bird(A.K.A. Moltres).

How to get Aurora Ticket
To get Aurora ticket:
1) Go to any poké-mart
2) On the desk, there should be a small square “memo”
3) Press the “A” button near the memo, and a questionnaire will pop up
4) Enter the words “LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL”
5) The counter person will react – and tell you that you will receive Mistery gifts!
6) Save your game, and turn of your gameboy advance(SP)
7) Turn on your game and Mistery gift should appear below the “new game” slot
When selecting Mistery gift you’ll see “wonder gift” and “wonder news” select “wonder gift”
9) Now you can receive the “aurora ticket” from the authorized Aurora Ticket Station (Pokémon Rocks America, or retail stores to be determinated)
Try to catch DEOXYS (at Lv. 30):
1) Go to the 2nd floor of any pokémon center
2) Talk to the man in green hat above the stairs
3) After speaking him, your aurora ticket will be in “key items pocket”
4) Save your game, then turn of you gameboy Advance(SP)
5) Go to the port of “Vermilion city”
6) When you speak to the sailor at the dock “BIRTH ISLAND” is your destination
7) Travel to BIRTH ISLAND

9) You will see a large patch of ground shaped like a triangle – a smaller triangle rests in the middle

Do you want to get unlimited master balls and rare candies? Well get a male and a female equipe them with a master ball each. Then put them in the daycare and soon there will be a baby with a master ball. Do the same with a rare candy.
Hint: Aerodactyl
To get the ancient Pokemon Aerodactyl, go to the house to the right of the Museum in Pewter City. Note: You must have Cut. Talk to the scientist and he will give you the Old Amber. Take it to the Lab on Cinnabar Island and let the scientist bring it back to life. It will be at level 5.
